Release Notes for rev 1.2: 

- This product requires Windows 3.1 or above.  

- This product is designed to allow the user to select AVI
  (Audio/Video), WAV, & Bitmaps to make their own custom 
  screen saver. We have include many "templates" or windows
  for you to select from. Depending on the speed of your 
  computer some will work better than others due to the size
  of the video image. Try the different demos and you will
  quickly get to know and use these different templates.
  The included templates are as follows:

	* Full Screen
	* Centered
	* Palette
	* Moving Action 
	* Photo Album

  With the use of the /T in the CVS file you can specify the
  size and location of the video window. See demo examples.     

- THIS RELEASE IS DESIGNED FOR 640x480x256. 
  We also support 800x600 & 1024x768, however due to the intense
  requirements of the video you may notice a drop in performance. 
  256 colors is preferable.

  **** !!!   There is a problem with some video drivers @ 1024x768x256
	     resolution. The video picture will "segment" in the larger
	     viewport templates. This occurs when the AVI file is 
	     captured at a low resolution (ex:160x120) and then
	     scaled to high resolution in large viewports. Check
	     Cool Software BBS, or other major BBS services, for 
	     an update if and when it is available.


- WE DO SUPPORT MPEG, if you have the hardware and supporting 
  drivers installed. Simple replace the AVI with MPEG files.

- Videos are played via the use of a CODEC (compression-
  decompression) driver. Different AVI files will make
  use of of these different CODECs and hence due to the
  differences in the compression methods you may see varying
  degrees of smoothness.  The size of the captured image will
  effect the quality of the playback image, especially if you 
  enlarge the image. The AVI demo files were captured at
  160 x 120 20 frames per second. You may wish to capture images
  at a higher resolution, depending on your system.

- Disk compression software can slow down the video.


- To improve Video speed turn off sound if you do NOT have a 
  sound card.

- We have tried to include as many AVI, WAV, and BITMAP
  source examples, and still make it easy to download.

- Feel free to edit and change out AVI, WAV, & BITMAPS for
  your use. The DEMOS are is help get you started. We admit
  we aren't artists or musicians. The main idea is to let 
  YOU use and create YOUR OWN FILES.

  ered users very soon to allow the user to create and edit 
  their CVS projects even easier.
